Classes 1.2
The newest version, Classes 1.2 is available. It features numerous improvements and all-new interactivity in landscape mode.
Stay tuned for our next app, a powerful base converter.
Version 1.1 is available, and version 1.1.1 is submitted
Classes 1.1 was approved by Apple and is now available in the App store.
I also submitted version 1.1.1 which fixes an annoying bug with the interface orientation when the device is rotated too fast. If you find yourself seeing the landscape view in portrait mode and vice versa, either restart the app, or try to rotate the device by 180ยบ (i.e. from portrait to portrait upside down) very fast.
Apart from some other bug fixes and user interface improvements, 1.1.1 features a new algorithm for handling overlapping events in landscape mode, which should considerabely improve the way such events are arranged.
Update: 1.1.1 is now live on the App store. We are currently working hard on the next iteration, which will be Classes 1.2. It will have a lot of small improvements and some bigger new features.
Classes 1.1
Yesterday, Classes 1.1 was submitted to the App store. Apart from improved speed and several bug fixes, it introduces the following features and improvements:
- Ability to define the teacher for a class
- Visual and user interface improvements (behold the new progress display for current events!)
- Display the amount of time left to the next event
- Smarter time display
- Automatic display refresh
Hopefully, it will be approved fast as the new version significantly boosts the design and abilities of Classes.
Classes is available!
As of today, the first version of Classes is available on the App Store.
A direct link will follow after I put the finishing touches on version 1.1 and uploaded it. In the meantime, you should be able to find the app by searching for it on the App Store.
Version 1.1 is much more polished, and will have the nice features mentioned in the previous post. Additionally, because the next university semester started, it has now been tested in the field, resulting mainly in many small improvements to make your life easier.
